Tastes of Asia with Spice Blending - at the Cookery School

This class takes spice-loving foodies on a journey across Asia and Southeast Asia, stopping in India,  Sri Lanka and Thailand to sample their unique and exotic cuisines. You’ll learn how to make some of your favourite takeaway recipes at home, using locally sourced ingredients and quick and easy techniques.  

We’ll explain the subtle art of spice blending, so that you can make your own freshly ground curry powder or paste, adjusting the heat and flavour to suit your own individual taste and palate. We’ll share two starters, two main dishes and a side dish based on the freshest in-season ingredients available at the time of your class. 


Come hungry – you’ll be tasting and sampling the dishes we prepare!


Sample menu:

  • Sri Lankan Chicken Curry 
  • Prawn and sesame balls
  • Saag paneer
  • Asian fried rice
  • Fish wrapped in banana leaf

All Multyfarnham Cookery School onsite classes include all food, equipment, and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages. You will also get to take home detailed recipes for the dishes we prepare. You will observe, cook and taste the food throughout the class – so bring along your appetite!

Really enjoyed our Spanish class last night. Great tips for having dishes prepped. You make everything look so easy. Definitely going to make the paella and tortilla. Lovely way to spend an evening. Will be back.
