Practice makes perfect when it comes to baking bread, and everyone should know how to bake a basic loaf. In this class, we’ll get you well on your way to making your own fresh bread at home, and even experimenting with specialty breads. We’ll talk you through the bread baking process, explaining each step along the way and showing you how to use yeasts and raising agents, and how to knead breads so you will easily replicate these recipes at home for family or guests.
Once you’ve got to grips with the basics, you’ll have the chance to whip up a fresh focaccia, crusty wholemeal rolls, and a traditional Irish brown bread. This class also suits those who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet. This lesson is not suitable for those who have a wheat or gluten allergy.
