Hands on bread making -at the Cookery School

Our Bread making class is hands-on and all ingredients are provided along with a recipe folder. Only 5 places are available.

Practice makes perfect when it comes to baking bread, and everyone should know how to bake a basic loaf. In this class, we’ll get you well on your way to making your own fresh bread at home, and even experimenting with specialty breads. We’ll talk you through the bread-baking process, explaining each step along the way and showing you how to use yeasts and raising agents, and how to knead bread so you will easily replicate these recipes at home for family or guests. 


Once you’ve got to grips with the basics, you’ll have the chance to whip up fresh focaccia, crusty wholemeal rolls, and traditional Irish brown bread. This class also suits those who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet. This lesson is not suitable for those who have a wheat or gluten allergy.

Suitable for: Adults 

All Multyfarnham Cookery School onsite classes include all food, equipment, and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages. You will also get to take home detailed recipes for the dishes we prepare. You will observe, cook and taste the food throughout the class – so bring along your appetite!
